Land of Many Fishes

The word ‘Panama’ is an indigenous word meaning ‘Land of Many Fishes’.  Panama certainly lives up to it’s name.  Many of the world’s records in big game fishing were achieved here in Panama, on the Pacific side.  Although the Caribbean has smaller fish, the abundant sea has plenty to offer.

In this photo, guest Kyle reeled in a 22 lb Yellowfin tuna.  The chef prepared it for dinner, and we all enjoyed an incredible meal.  It doesn’t get any fresher than this!

Our very own fishing guide, Gabriel, always returns from a day at sea with satisfied customers, and a few big fish.
